Getting Britain on the Move

The why
With the new Labour government targeting the delivery of 1.5million homes over the course of a five-year parliament, Human Nature wanted to set out a clear position on how national policy should support more sustainable development. The aim was to articulate the reforms needed to move away from volume-led, car-dependent housebuilding and towards people-centred, resilient places.

The what
I supported Periscope with messaging, press and social media activity for the launch of the Ilford Arrival. This included shaping the story, preparing materials and helping position the project’s innovative ‘co-client’ model for media and public audiences.

The impact
The manifesto provided Human Nature with a clear and timely policy position that informed conversations with government, stakeholders and partners. It also strengthened the launch of the Human Nature Places newsletter, helping establish the organisation’s public voice on planning and development reform.
